First-aid measures

Inhalation: Move affected person to the open air. Keep him or her at rest to allow easier breathing. Get medical advice and attention if you feel unwell.

Skin contact: Wash with soap and plenty of water. When skin stimulation occurs, seek medical treatment and advice.

Eye contact: Wash eyes carefully for several minutes with water. Take off contact lenses if easily removed, and continue to wash eyes afterwards. When the ocular stimulation lasts, seek medical treatment and advice.

Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Don't make vomit by force. Get medical advice and attention if you feel unwell.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing Media: Dry chemicals, general foam extinguishing agents, carbon dioxide, sand, and water spraying

Specific Fire Fighting: retained downwind windward

Protection of Fire Fighter: Toxic gases (carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides) will form upon combustion

Accidental release measures

Personal Precautions, Protective Equipment and Emergency Procedures: Keep unauthorized personnel away. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid inhalation or contact with eyes and skin.

Environmental Precautions: Pay attention not to cause the influence on the environment by discharging into rivers.

Methods and Materials for Containment and Cleaning up: In case of spills of powder, cover the spilt powder with a plastic sheet, avoid scattering, and keep dry.

Prevention Measures for Secondary Accidents: Removes all ignition sources promptly (Prohibition of smoking, sparks, and flames in the surrounding area). Prevent dispersion by covering with plastic sheets.

Handling and storage

Technical Measures: Provide ventilation system and use necessary personal protective equipment. Provide local ventilations and a full ventilation system.

Precautions for Safe Handling: Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Avoid the contact with the skin. Avoid breathing dust and fume.

Conditions for Safe Storage: Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces. No smoking. Store away from oxidants. Store in a well-ventilated and cool place keeping container tightly closed.

Suitable packaging: Pack the material in polyethylene inner bag and carton box or fiber drum.

Technical protection measures: Use a closed system, local ventilation, and other engineering controls for the process to keep the aerial density below the recommended control and exposure limits.
