log Pow
Partition coefficient:
1.94
Temp.:
20 °C
Remarks on result:
other: pH not measured or not reported.

The R² fit of the calibration curve used was 0.986. The deviations of calculated Log POW-values from actual ones were 8.8 % at maximum. This reflects the linear correlation between the logarithms of the capacity factors of the HPLC system and the Log POW-values of the reference items in the applied range of 0.5 to 3.4.

The following table summarizes the results obtained for the test item.

Conclusion

During this study, the partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) of the test item was determined using the HPLC method. The Log POW-value of the test item was found to be 1.94.

Conclusions:
A partition coefficient value of 1.94 (at 20 °C) was determined for the test substance according to OECD 117.
