Expert statement of a DSM scientist with long term experience in handling of the submitted substance: Based on the chemical structure of diethylacetylsuccinate (DEAS) and according to the long term experience within DSM in handling of DEAS it is concluded, that this substance is not corrosive to metals at normal conditions.
