Measured Exposure Concentrations
The measured concentrations at the start of all exposure intervals after 0 to 72 hours were between 49 and 119 % of the nominal values. At the end of all exposure intervals after 24 to 96 hours the measured concentrations of the test item were between 31 to 53 %. Since the measured test item concentrations were not within the range of ± 20% of the nominal concentrations, the geometric mean measured concentrations were calculated.
All effect levels are given based on the geometric mean measured concentrations of the test item after 96 hours. The LC50 after 96 hours was 3.59 (2.41 - 4.79) mg test item/L.

- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The 96h-LC50 of the test item was determined to be 3.59 mg/L (geometric mean measured test item concentration).
- Executive summary:
The acute toxicity of the test item to zebrafish was determined according to the principles of the OECD-Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No. 203 (1992) and EU Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008/ Method C.1 (2008). An acute toxicity test under semi-static conditions with daily renewal of the test media was conducted with the nominal test item concentrations of 0.500 - 1.00 - 2.00 - 4.00 - 8.00 mg/L (factor 2) corresponding to geometric mean measured concentrations of 0.266 - 0.498 - 1.10 - 2.41 - 4.79 mg/L. Seven test organisms were exposed to each test concentration and the control. The determination of the test concentrations was carried out via HPLC-DAD on a reversed phase column in isocratic mode using external standard calibration. The measured concentrations at the start of all exposure intervals after 0 to 72 hours were between 49 and 119 % of the nominal values. At the end of all exposure intervals after 24 to 96 hours the measured concentrations of the test item were between 31 to 53 %. Therefore, all effect values are based on the geometric mean measured concentrations of the test item. The 96-h LC50-values was determined to be 3.59 mg/L (geom. mean measured concentration).
