In accordance with Section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the flammability study does not need to be conducted as the test substance does not ignite or liberate flammable gases on contact with water, and is known not to have pyrophoric properties based on experience in handling and use. The flammability test described in EU Method A.12 (Flammability (Contact with Water)) is not applicable for liquids.
