PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Based on the available data, the substance does not fulfil the REACH criteria for all three aspects of Persistence, Bioaccumulation and Toxicity, nor both of the criteria for Very Persistent and Very Bioaccumulative, and is therefore not considered to be a PBT or vPvB substance.

Although the persistence assessment indicates that the substance may persist in the environment, the physical-chemical data for the endpoint log Kow of 0.93 is well below the trigger value of 4.5. It is therefore not considered necessary to undertake a definitive assessment in line with the recommendations in the technical ECHA guidance.

The substance does not meet the criteria for PBT or vPvB properties according to Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex VIII.

Likely routes of exposure:

In accordance with Annex I, 4.02, emission characterisation is not required as the substance does not fulfil the criteria for a PBT or vPvB substance.
