Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
medical treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of
water
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contact with skin wash off wiht soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Take medical treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrogen
chloride
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus as combustion may
produce hazardous fumes.
Accidental release measures
vacuum cleaner). Carefully transfer it to waste containers
which must be tightly closed and labelled according to TRGS
201. Dispose of material in accordance with the regulations.
While taking up the spilt material and cleaning the polluted
area avoid skin and eye contact as well as inhalation of the
substance by wearing appropriate personal protective
equipment (see section "Handling").
Do not allow to enter drains or waterways.
Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil.
Handling and storage
eye contact are to be avoided.
Where possible, use closed equipment during filling, metered
feeding, and sampling.
In the case of handling the substance in open systems,
extract any dust which might form, directly at the point of
origin.
If technical extraction or ventilation measures are not
possible or are insufficient, suitable respiratory pro-
tection (e.g. silicone half mask including an active coal
filter, EN 140) should be worn.
To avoid skin contact, tested protective gloves (e.g.
isobutylene-isoprene rubber gloves, EN 374) and, if
applicable, suitable protective clothing (e.g. chemical
protective overall, EN 465) should be worn.
To avoid eye contact, safe eye protection (e.g. splash
goggles, EN 166) should be worn.
Adequate washing facilities and conspicuously labelled
eye-douche stations should be provided in the immediate
vicinity of the working area.
Storage: Store the substance in tightly closed, secure, and correctly
labelled containers in a dry, cool and well-ventilated
place. Secure them against falling by taking the appropriate
measures.
Avoid residues on the outside of the containers.
Observe prohibitions on the joint storage of different
materials (see Technical Rule 514).
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 20 liter plastic lined drums
200 liter plastic lined drums
