The biodegradability of 1,1,1,3,3,3 -hexamethyldisilazane was examined in a closed bottle test. For the test substance, a maximum biodegradation of 15.3% during the 28 -day exposure period was determined. Based on these findings, the test substance was qualified as not readily biodegradable.
