Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

All modeling data was generated by using the read across to dodecanedioic acid for Corfree® M1.

According to the MacKay Level III Fugacity model predicts the bulk of Corfree® M1 (about 81%) released to the environment will partition to soil, with the balance partitioning to water. EPI Suite™ model calculations, if released to soil, Corfree® M1 diacids is predicted to partition into the organic component of soils and sediments, given an estimated soil absorption coefficient (Log Koc) value of 2.95k (EPI Suite™ v4.1). The estimated half-life for Corfree® M1 diacids in soil is approximately 17 days and is consistent with the read-across chemical (dodecanedioic acid). The estimated log Kow value is 2.95 suggesting that Corfree® M1 has a low potential to bioaccumulate (EPI Suite v4.1). The absorption potential of dodecanedioic acid to soil or sediment organic matter is expected to be very low (Blume scale).
