Additional information

The viscosity of the Alcohols, C9-11, ethoxylated (EO < 2.5) (CAS 68439-46-3) was determined according to CIPAC method MT22 1994, reprinted 2007, using the capillary method.

Tests were performed at 20 °C, 40 °C and 60 °C. At 20 °C the material was found to be cloudy and heterogeneous, and the test results did not meet the acceptance criteria of the method. As the material is a multicomponent substance, it was suspected that the material was separating out and thereby affecting the flow rate of the substance through the viscometer. This problem was not observed at 40 °C. The test was also performed at 60 °C, in accordance with the test guidelines.
