Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 104 (Vapour Pressure Curve)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.4 (Vapour Pressure)
GLP compliance:
yes
Type of method:
effusion method: vapour pressure balance
Key result
Temp.:
25 °C
Vapour pressure:
0.002 Pa

The test item appearance was recorded before testing as an amber viscous liquid. During testing the viscosity increased and the sample was observed as an amber waxy solid at the end of testing.

A total of 10 runs were started for the main sequence, and even with the test item increasing in viscosity during these runs, equilibrium was achieved; thus, all runs have been used to calculate the definite vapor pressure.
The results may represent rounded values obtained by calculations based on the exact raw data.

Conclusions:
The vapor pressure of the test item has been determined to be 2.12E-03 Pa at 25 ºC.
Executive summary:

The vapor pressure of Esterification products of triglycerides, C18 (unsaturated) with
triethanolamine, dimethyl sulphate-quaternized has been determined to be 2.12E-03 Pa at 25 °C, using the vapor pressure balance method, designed to be compatible with EU Method A.4 and OECD TG 104.
