- the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is readily biodegradable
- Justification for type of information:
- In accordance with column 2 of the REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EC, Annex VIII section 9.2.2.1, a study on hydrolysis does not need to be conducted as 2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, C13-15-branched and linear alkyl esters is readily biodegradable in accordence to OECD guideline. Further the water solubility of the test substance is very low <0.5 µg/L (at 20°C).
