At the oven temperature of 157 °C there is a rapid rise in temperature in the sample but sample temperature only reaches a maximum temperature 317 °C. At the oven temperature of 391 °C, the sample temperature reaches 400 °C. According to the criteria of the method A.16 the observed phenomenon indicates that the relative self-ignition temperature of the sample is 391 °C. See image attached.

Executive summary:

The determination of the self-ignition temperature of the tested material was performed according to EU Method A.16 (GLP study). A cube of stainless steel wire mesh was filled with the test item, suspended in the centre of the laboratory oven and heated at a constant rate of 0.5ºC/min until reaching 400ºC. One thermocouple was placed at the centre of the cube and the other between the cube and the oven wall to record the oven temperature. Based on the test method, the temperature of the oven at which the sample temperature reaches 400 °C is the self-ignition temperature. According to the results, the relative self-ignition temperature of the tested material is 391ºC.
