Biodegradation:The test item was not readily biodegradable in a carbon dioxide evolution test, since the pass level for ready biodegradability within a ten days window was not reached and the degree of biodegradation after an exposure period of 28 days was 0% CO2/ThCO2.

Partition coefficient: Log Pow >0.1 at 20 °C

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. The test substance was found not to be readily biodegradable under the test conditions.The most sensitive test for the aquatic compartment was the toxicity test to aquatic invertebrates (D. magna). The test revealed a 48 -h EL50 of 0.53mg/L. The test item was not readily biodegradable in a carbon dioxide evolution test, since the pass level for ready biodegradability within a ten days window was not reached and the degree of biodegradation after an exposure period of 28 days was 0% CO2/ThCO2. The substance has a log Pow of >0.1 at 20.0 °C. Based on these results, the substance is classified as aquatic acutly very toxicity and classified as aquatic chronic 1 according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) as amended for the tenth time in Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/776.
