A light to marked violet coloured staining, caused by the test item, was present at the test site of all animals 1 hour after treatment and light staining continued to be observed in one animal up to the 48-hour reading and in another animal up to the 10-day reading. No corrosive effects were noted on the treated skin of any animal at any measuring interval. No abnormal findings were observed at the test site of any animal 14 days after treatment, the end of the observation period for all animals.
