Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Following a theoretical assessmene of the Fatty acids, C18 unsaturated, reaction products with pentaethylenehexamine, acetate salts it can be concluded that they show no evidence of possessing oxidising properties

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
no

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The structures do not contain any of the most commonly occurring oxidising functional groups. In all of the structures either there are no highly electronegative atoms or the proportion of highly electronegative atoms is low. All oxygen atoms are bound to carbon atoms. The highly electronegative atoms are not bound to one another, nor to any other electronegative elements. The assessment strongly indicates that the molecule will not have oxidising properties.
