Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of test item was determined using Effusion method isothermal thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).


The Validation of the method was performed using a set of four reference substances. The constants C and D specific for the experimental arrangement were 1.1059 and 5.1067, respectively.


The evaporation rate of each reference substance and test item (VT) were calculated at elevated temperatures from the weight loss of the compounds.


The vapour pressure of the test item was performed in duplicate using TGA method. The vapor pressure of the test item at 20°C and 25°C were estimated by extrapolation and the vapor pressure results of the test item are presented below.

From the TGA results, the repeatability of the obtained vapour pressure of the test item in duplicate was found to be < 30%.
