Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 104 (Vapour Pressure Curve)
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:

Guideline:
EU Method A.4 (Vapour Pressure)
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:

Guideline:
EPA OPPTS 830.7950 (Vapor Pressure)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes
Type of method:
gas saturation method
Key result
Temp.:
25 °C
Vapour pressure:
< 0 kPa
Conclusions:
Test substance has a vapour pressure that is considerably less than 1.0E-8 kPa at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the test item was determined by the gas saturation method at a nominal temperature of 93 °C in accordance with OECD TG 104 and in compliance with GLP. It was concluded that in the collection time of 5760 minutes, nominal flow rates of 30 and 40 cm3/min and a room temperature of 294 K the vapour pressure at the test temperature of 93 °C was less than 4.0E-8 kPa and therefore << 1.0E-8 kPa at 25 °C.
