Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Skin contact: Use waterless hand cleaner. Then wash with lots of water and soap. The product may stain the skin and is difficult to remove. Do not use bleach to decolorize the skin, the color will eventually fade.
Eye contact:Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Consult a physician.
Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: no data available
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically. The acute toxicity of this product by oral, inhalation or skin exposure is considered to be low.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Suitable extinguishing media:
Not combustible.
Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
The product itself does not burn.
Advice for firefighters
In the case of respirable dust and/or fumes, use self-contained breathing apparatus and dust impervious protective suit.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions
Prevent product from entering drains. Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Avoid subsoil penetration.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up
Remove all sources of ignition.
Stop leak at source.
Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak.
Contain material using temporary measures such as sand bags, booms or adsorbent socks.
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust).
Never return spills in original containers for re-use.
Spilled product should be disposed of in accordance with all applicable government regulations.
Clean-up methods - small spillage
Soak up with inert absorbent material.
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Advice on safe handling: Use only in well-ventilated areas. Wear personal protective equipment. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Store in original container. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.
Specific end use(s): no additional data available
