The toxicity to aquatic algae was determined according to OECD 201 guideline. Th study shows that the test item pinacolone give :
- EC50 - 72h - growth rate = 583 mg/L
- EC10 - 72h - growth rate = 177 mg/L
- EC50 - 72h - yield inhibition = 523 mg/L
- EC10 - 72h - yield inhibition = 171 mg/L
The test item is not considered to be toxic for aquatic algae after short-term exposure.
