Endpoint:
oxidising liquids
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
The data waiving was based on the expert statement in the study report.

From the expert statement:
A test item is considered an oxidizing substance when a mixture of the substance and cellulose in a 1:1 ratio (by mass) spontaneously ignites or the mean pressure rise time of the mixture is less than or equal to mean pressure rise time of a 1:1 reference mixture (by mass) of 65% aqueous nitric acid and cellulose.
The composition of the test item is shown in paragraph 4.1 and Appendix 2. None of the components of the test item does contain groups that act as an oxidizing agent. The oxygen atoms that are present in the molecular structure of the test item are chemically bonded to carbon or hydrogen.
In conclusion, Setalux 7002 BX-55 has no oxidizing properties.
GLP compliance:
not specified
Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The substance has no oxidizing properties.
