Guideline:
other: ASTM D7094: “Standard Test Method for Flash Point by Modified Continuously Closed Cup (MCCCFP) Tester”
Version / remarks:

Principles of method if other than guideline:
According to ECA.9 the flash point can be determined by an equilibrium method or a non-equilibrium method. Several methods are mentioned in the guideline. ASTM D7094 is not one of the methods mentioned in the guideline but is a commonly used and safer (low sample volume) alternative for the non-equilibrium ISO 2719 Pensky martens closed cup method.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Test 1: 152°C

Test 2: 151°C

Test 3: 155°C

The result of the Test 1 was > 28°C from the starting temperature of the ignition source. The result of this test was therefore not taken into account.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: not classified under CLP or GHS
Conclusions:
The flash point of the substance was determined to be 151°C.
Executive summary:

The flash point of the substance was determined using the modified continuously closed cup ASTM D7094 method (GLP study). The flash point was determined in duplicate obtaining a lowest value of 151°C.
