Additional information

Due to the low solubility and complex nature of the analogue test item, for test media for investigations of short-term aquatic toxicity were prepared as a Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs). Given that the toxicity cannot be attributed to a single component or a mixture of components, but to the test item as a whole, results were based on nominal loading rate.

Conclusion on classification

The registered substance has been demonstrated to be readily biodegradable and an analogue test item exhibited no toxicity to fish, Daphnia or algae during short-term testing of the registered substance or a close analogue at loading rates far in excess of water solubility. As such, classification is not required under the terms of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
