Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Biodegradation:

A reliable biodegradation study according to OECD 301 D and GLP indicates that the test substance is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria (66 - 68% within 28 days). No toxicty control was included. However, it could be observed that the substance had no inhibitory effects to the microorganisms up to a test concentration of 5 mg/L.

Henry´s Law constant:

Evaporation into the air is not considered to be relevant based on a calculated Henry’s Law constant value of 23.0 Pa m3/mole derived with the formula in ECHA Guidance R.16.

Hydrolysis and adsorption:

The test substance is readily biodegradable and has a log Kow value below 3. Both values indicate that the potential of the substance to adsorb to organic sediment and soil particles is low. Furthermore, the degradation via abiotic hydrolysis is not considered to be a relevant degradation pathway in the environment.
