- Justification:
Substance is not considered to fulfil the screening criteria for PBT or vPvB. The test material cannot be considered to be readily biodegradable under the strict terms and conditions of OECD Guideline No 301B
but did attained 16% degradation after 28 days demonstrating that some level of degradation occurs. The Log Kow value of 3.9 was experimentally derived and does not fulfill the requirements of bioaccumulative. In addition, no toxicity was determined in three short term aquatic studies up to the limit of water solubility and the substance is not classified as CMR or STOT Cat 1 or Cat 2. Therefore, the substance does not meet the criteria for a PBT or vPvB.
