Any other information on results incl. tables

During a certain period of time, no significant changes in the surface tension were detected. In dependence on time and temperature, values between 43.54 and 46.11 mN/m were recorded showing no significant variations. As the determined surface tension of B 1061 was below 60 mN/m, the test item can be classified as surface active.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The surface tension of an aqueous solution of B 1061 was determined as

45.72 +- 0.17 mN/m at 20.2 °C

One additional measurement was performed for verification (after 59 minutes). No significant changes and thus no significant dependence on time and temperature were observed.

As these values are below than 60 mN/m, the test item B 1061 was classified as surface active.

The surface tension of the negative control lay within the accepted range.
