Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Test procedure:
burning time (test type not further specified)
Remarks:
or specified in description of method (migrated information)
Burning time:
0 s
Remarks on result:
other: The test item could not be ignited with a flame. The test item melted. So preliminary test sufficient.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Result

In the preliminary test (200 mm) the test item melted. The test item did not ignite at room temperature using a flame as ignition source being applied for at least 2 minutes. Therefore, the performance of the main test was not necessary.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The test substance could not be ignited by a flame, it is not a highly flammable solid in the sense oft the Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.10. and it is not a flammable solid in the sense of the classification criteria as laid down in Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and subsequent adaptations.
