Description of key information

Based on the QSAR prediction done using the EPI Suite Fugacity model, the half-life period of Basic yellow 57 in water is estimated to be 60 days, while in sediment it is 541.666 days. Based on these half-life values of test substance, it is concluded that the chemical is persistent in both water and sediment.
