2 -Acetone polymer with phenol (BPA-Tars) is expected to be "readily biodegradable" in the environment based on data for the structural analog, Bisphenol A. BPA-Tars potential to bioconcentrate in the aquatic environment is anticipated to be low based on a Log Kow of approximately 3.3 and supporting bioconcentration study data for Bisphenol A. A Log Koc of 2.8 suggests that BPA-Tars will have little mobility in soil and will absorb to particulate matter and sediment in the aquatic environment.
