Additional information

As key study regarding biodegradability of 2-ethylhexanoic acid a test performed by Ekolab Environmental Oy on behalf of Finnish Chemical Oy (1998) was identified. The test was performed according to OECD guideline 301E using primary effluent of municipal sewage treatment plant. After 28 days a DOC removal of 99% was measured.
