Additional information

According to Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006, Annex XI, Section 2, the testing regime may be adapted because testing is technically not feasible as a consequence of the properties of the substance. Flammability testing is applicable to solid or gaseous substances, as noted in Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008. As this substance is a liquid which has a flash point of 160 degrees C, or a solid which melts near 60 °C, it does not meet the criteria for flammability.

Justification for classification or non-classification

4,4'-Methylenedicyclohexanamine is a liquid substance with a high flash point (300 oC). It does not meet the criteria of a flammable liquid according to Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008.
