Description of key information

Additional information

Stability:

Hydrolysis: Data waiving (other justification): In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is readily biodegradable. Moreover, the substance is an UVCB substance and it is not possible to determine the hydrolysis. It should be pointed out that the substance is very poorly soluble in water.

Biodegradation:

Biodegradation in water: screening test: Key study: Test method OECD 301F and EC C.4-D. GLP study. The test item biodegradability (based on O2 consumption) was 83.8 % after 28 days. The test item was determined to be ready biodegradable under aerobic conditions according to the OECD 301 criteria.

Biodegradation in water and sediment: simulation test: Data waiving (other justification): In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is readily biodegradable. Furthermore, exposure of sediment is unlikely.

Biodegradation in soil: Data waiving (other justification): In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted since the substance is readily biodegradable. Furthermore, exposure of soil is unlikely.

Transport and distribution:

Adsorption/desorption

KOCWIN results prediction for all 3 main components indicate the estimated soil adsorption coefficient is (KOCWIN v2.00, MCI method): Koc = 1.402e+006 L/kg and a Log Koc = 6.147.
