Description of key information

Growth inhibition (16 h) at concentrations > 35 ppm (Pseudomonas putida, growth inhibition)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a 16 h toxicity study, cultures of Pseudomonas putida were exposed to test substance at nominal concentrations of 0.5, 0.25, 0.125, 0.06, 0.03, 0.01, 0.007, 003, 0.001, 0.0009, and 0.0004% in accordance with the guideline of Umweltbundesamt (1979) and slightly modified to DEV DIN 38412 part 8 (1991). A decrease in cell density was observed at substance concentrations > 35 ppm.
