Additional information

A experimental value was determined using the flask method according to the EU Method A6 and OECD 105 under GLP conditions. The test system consists of glass double distilled water. No deviation from the guidelines was observed. The water solubility of the test item has been determined to be 1.25 *10-2g/l of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and pH 4. Although the individual water solubility results were just outside the ± 15 % of the mean specified in the guideline, the results were still considered acceptable. One reason for sample to sample variation could have been the HPLC-MS analytical method as MS can be prone to suppression of the response from impurities present and also causing injection to injection variation. It is evident from the information obtained in the hydrolysis test and data relating to the pH of the test item in water that negligible hydrolysis of the sample solution occurred during the course of the water solubility test.

Supporting data are consistent with the previous result.
