A reliable handbook value for the flash point is reported to be > 110 °C at 1013 hPa (closed cup, Brandes E, Möller W (2003)).
Supported is this value by the experimental determined value of the structure analogue Isodecyl methacrylate. In the key sudy of IDMA
according to EU test method A9 [Directive 92/69/EEC, Official Journal L 383 A 1992] the flash point for Isodecyl methacrylate is reported to be 100°C at 1013 hPa (closed cup method). Evonik Röhm GmbH, 2010.
