No information on the potential of the substance for hydrolysis is available as the substance is considered readily biodegradable.

Some information on phototransformation on the read-across substance Santicizer 154 is available. As the main component is the same for S-154 and the substance of concern (reaction mass of tert-butylphenyl diphenyl phosphate and di-tert-butylphenyl phenyl phosphate) the information on S-154 is relevant for this substance as well. In this study - performed according to the methodology comparable to the OECD Guideline draft (Phototransformation of Chemicals in Water - Direct and Indirect Photolysis) no photolysis of chemical transformation of the substance was detected at a concentration o f 1 ppm during during the 14 -day test period. Consequently it can be concluded that phototransformation is not a relevant degradation pathway.
