R-Pantolactone is found to be non-oxidizing.
Executive summary:

Applying the internationally recognized UN Recommendation criteria, R-Pantolactone is found

to be non-oxidizing and therefore is not to be tested experimentally for the classification under

division 5.1 as oxidizing substances. Thus it can be concluded beyond a reasonable doubt that RPantolactone

is not capable of causing fire or enhancing the risk of fire when in contact with

combustible material.
