The acute toxicity of the test substance on zebra fish was measured according to DIN 38 412. The LC50 value was determined to be greater than 215 mg/L (BASF SE 1990). Therefore, the test substance is considered with high probability acutely not harmful to fish.

The acute toxicity of the test substance on Daphnia magna was measured in a guideline study according to EU method C2. The EC50 value was determined to be 159.32 mg/L (BASF SE 1990). Therefore, the test substance is considered with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.

The ErC50 value on green algae was determined to be 399 mg/L in a guideline study according to DIN 38 412/9 (Ökolimna 08/91/264, 1991). Therefore, the test substance is with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic algae.

The EC20 value was determined to be 100 mg/L in a guideline study according to OECD 209 (BASF 1900397, 1990). Furthermore, the EC10 value of the test item on activated sludge was found to be 653.3 mg/L in a guideline study according to DIN 38412, part 8 (BASF AG 01/90/0397, 1990).
