Executive summary:

The acute toxicity of FAT 40444/A to fish was evaluated in a study conducted according to a methodology equivalent to OECD Guideline 203. Three groups, each containing 7 fish, were exposed to nominal test substance concentrations of 30, 100 and 300 mg/L for 96 h. No mortality was observed at concentrations of 30 and 300 mg/L, however, 1 out of 7 fish died when exposed at 100 mg/L concentration. Hence, the LC50 was determined to be >300 mg/L.
