Executive summary:

The surface tension of the test substance was determined in a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 115 and EU Method A.5. Wilhelmy plate method was used for this purpose. The experiment was performed using a Tensiometer model K 100, Krüss GmbH , Hamburg, Germany. The measuring body was a roughened platinum plate. Based on the findings of the study, the surface tension of FAT 40444/B was determined to be 71.923 mN/m at room temperature ca 20 °C. The variation of specification factor was 0.007037 mN/m.
