Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

2.7
at the temperature of:
30 °C

Additional information

The partition-coefficient of the test substance was determined in a GLP compliant study performed in accordance with standardised guidelines OECD 117 and EU Method A.8 with a sufficient level of detail to assess the quality of the presented data (Givaudan, 1996). The study was performed to a good standard and was assigned a reliability score of 1 in accordance with Klimisch (1997) and considered suitable to fill the data requirement. The log Pow was determined to be 2.7 at 30°C. The partition coefficient determination was performed at 30°C (HPLC column temperature), but the value obtained can be considered to represent the value at an unspecified temperature (including the ambient temperature). The relevant testing guideline does not specify a temperature to perform the HPLC method, and it is assumed that the partition coefficients of the test and reference substances vary with temperature in the same way.
