The authors reported that the 2-chlorophenol, 3-chlorophenol, 2,4-Dichlorophenol, and 2,4,5-T3CP all had a tumour-promoting action similar to that of phenol, while 2,4,6-T3CP did not have any effect on tumour promotion.
