Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Vapour Pressure Balance (Effusion Method)

The vapour pressure was measured in the temperature range of 28°C to 123°C. Above 72°C areasonable vapour pressure could be measured. The measured vapour pressures at thecorresponding temperatures are listed in the following table:

Temperature / oc

Vapour pressure / hPa

72.4

8.3 x 10-6

76.3

1.2 x 10-5

81.0

2.1 x 10-5

The figure 2 gives the logarithm of the vapour pressure as a function of the inversetemperature (1/T, T in Kelvin). Only for better readability the temperature is reported in a centigradescale. The values for 20, 25 and 50°C are calculated, using the Antoine constants A, B and C as shown there
