Description of key information

No data are available for 2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, C13-C15-branched and linear alkyl esters. The bioaccumulation potential  was calculated using the EPISUITE (v.4.11) software for Tridecyl methacrylate (C13-MA) (CAS 2495-25-2) an Log BCF (including biotransformation rate, mid trophic level) of 2.374 and an BCF of 236.6 L/kg wet-wt was calculated. Based on the log POW method an log BCF of 3.445 was calculated.


Conclusion


2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, C13-C15-branched and linear alkyl esters are not expected to accumulate in the body, based on their metabolic elimination, this is supported by calculation with EPISUITE.
