Additional information

A biodegradation test was performed according to OECD 301C with Pegafast 425. The test item was tested in triplicate at a concentration of 100 mg/L. The incubation period ws 28 days. During the incubation period the BOD was measured on day 7, 14, 21 and 28. At the end of the test period the concentration of the remaining test item was measured with HPLC. The test revealed a percentage biodegradation by BOD of 1% at 28 days. At the end of the study the amount of test item remaining was 98% of initial. In conclusion, pergafast 425 is not readily biodegradable.
