- Study period:
- April 25, 2018
- Reliability:
- 1 (reliable without restriction)
- Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
- test procedure in accordance with generally accepted scientific standards and described in sufficient detail
- Qualifier:
- according to guideline
- Guideline:
- OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids)
- Version / remarks:
- adopted October 02, 2012
- Deviations:

- Type of method:
- pycnometer method
- Specific details on test material used for the study:
- Test Item was used in its initial form.
- Type:
- relative density
- Density:
- 1.074
- Temp.:
- 20 °C
- Conclusions:
- Relative density: 1.0742 at 20 °C
- Executive summary:
The relative density of test item was determined in accordance with OECD guideline 109, using pycnometer method.
The calibration was performed with ultrapure water and the empty, clean pycnometer (with all accessories) was weighted. The weight of test item was calculated as the difference between the weight of the empty and the levelled pycnometer. The pycnometer was filled with test item in three replicates and was measured.
The relative density was determined to be 1.0742 ± 0.00476 (with 95 % confidence interval) at 20 °C.
Conclusion
Relative density: 1.0742 at 20 °C
