4.1 Description of first aid measures
General advice
:
Move out of dangerous area. Consult a physician.
Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Symptoms of poisoning may appear several hours later. Do not leave the victim unattended.
If inhaled
:
Call a physician or poison control centre immediately.
Move to fresh air.
If unconscious, place in recovery position and get medical attention immediately.
In case of skin contact
:
If on skin, rinse well with water.
If on clothes, remove clothes.
If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
In case of eye contact
:
Remove contact lenses.
In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Protect unharmed eye.
Keep eye wide open while rinsing.
If swallowed

Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water.
Keep respiratory tract clear.
Do not give milk or alcoholic beverages.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
For safety reasons in case of fire, cans should be stored sepa-rately in closed containments.
Use a water spray to cool fully closed containers.

Avoid formation of respirable particles.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion

Avoid dust formation. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. Take necessary action to avoid static electricity discharge (which might cause ignition of organic vapours). Use only explosion-proof equipment. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition. Keep away from combustible material.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. General industrial hygiene practice. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.
