Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The density of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 109, EU Method A.3 and EPA OPPTS 830.7300 under GLP conditions using a pycnometer. The study was awarded a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the principles for assessing data quality set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).

The density and relative density of the test material were determined using a pycnometer with a volume of 10 mL. The density of the test material is calculated from the difference in weight between the full and empty pycnometer and its volume. Measurements were performed at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.

Under the conditions of this study, the density of the test material was determined to be 0.898 g/cm³ at 20 °C. The relative density was 0.898.
