Justification:

The registered substance is considered readily biodegradable. Therefore, is not considered as persistent or very persistent.

According to a read-across strategy, the log Kow value of the registered substance is considered to be 2.79. Therefore, is not considered as bioaccumulable or very bioaccumulable.

According to a read-across strategy, long-term toxicity data are available on the most sensitive species (aquatic invertebrates Daphnia magna), in addition to algae. The lowest EC10 value was 1.86 mg/L. In addition, the substance is not classified as carcinogenic (category 1 or 2), mutagenic (category 1 or 2), or toxic for reproduction (category 1, 2 or 3), and there is no other evidence of chronic toxicity, as identified by the classifications: T, R48, or Xn, R48 according to Directive 67/548/EEC. Therefore, the substance is not considered toxic.

In conclusion, the registered substance does not fulfill the PBT or vPvB criteria.
