Description of key information
A Guinea pig study reported no evidence of phototoxicity of the test substance. In a separate investigation of cross-sensitivity, challenge of Guinea pigs already sensitised to formaldehyde with test substance solution provoked single animal responses, but only when applied to abraded skin or when the test solution had been subjected to a prolonged high-temperature treatment.
